Around 1.8 million people in England are currently living with a diagnosis of cancer. Evidence shows that many cancer survivors have unmet needs, especially at the end of treatment, whilst others are struggling with the consequences of treatment. This course will assist GPs and the primary healthcare team to understand the survivorship agenda and support patients after diagnosis and through the consequences of cancer therapies.
This course was developed in partnership with CRUK.

Patients with cancer are known to access GP services more than patients without cancer. As the population ages and cancer treatments improve, more cancer patients will have stable disease or be in remission.
