Online course for GPs and primary care health professionals to improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients presenting with alopecia.

Hair loss is a common presentation in primary care, but clinicians can find it hard to manage due to the lack of effective treatments. This module will discuss the different types of alopecia, the various management options and the psychological impact of hair loss.

An educational grant was received by Alopecia UK, a registered charity working to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia for the production of the course.  Editorial and content decisions were made solely by the RCGP.
