This course will highlight how the local fire and rescue services (FRSs) work in conjunction with primary care to reduce the risk of injury and death amongst the patient population, particularly vulnerable groups. It will help you identify people who are more vulnerable to the risks of fire in the home, and provides information on how GPs can refer vulnerable people to the FRS for a home fire safety visit.

This course was developed in partnership with Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA).
