This course will provide an introduction to the issues relating to lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) patients. The first module will cover definitions, attitudes, epidemiology, and current inequalities. It will also provide an introduction to the specific health issues relating to this group of patients and will discuss the ways that a practice can become more accessible to LGB patients. The second module will look at different sub-groups within this population and cover more detail on HIV and other STIs, drug use and fertility.
