As we go towards winter, with increasing cases of COVID-19 and no testing, how can we determine the cause of respiratory infections and ensure we provide the best treatment? As we “learn to live” with COVID-19, alongside the cost of living crisis, we expect that this winter will be challenging. High numbers of flu and COVID-19 are predicted, in addition to standard winter infections and exacerbations of underlying long term conditions, and as always primary care is on the front line.

Join us for a webinar to explore the differential diagnosis and approaches to treatment of respiratory infections this winter as we prepare potentially the challenging winters ahead.

Learning Objectives:

  • To understand the challenges primary care faces during the winter and how and why this may be different to previous years
  • To understand the differential diagnosis of respiratory presentations in primary care
  • To determine how to treat and manage respiratory presentations with a background of COVID-19 and no available testing
  • To understand the public health challenges ahead with the cost of living crisis adding to the burden of disease
