Vaccines in pregnancy screencast
Vaccine development is one of the major interventions in global health
to date, playing a central role in reducing morbidity and mortality from
infectious disease, including in pregnant women. Prior to the COVID-19
pandemic vaccines were estimated to prevent 3 million deaths per year
globally. Written by Dr Jo Parsons a post-doctoral researcher with a PhD
in vaccine uptake in pregnancy and Dr Sarah Hillman, a GP and clinical
lecturer at the University of Warwick, this screencast provides
information on vaccinations within pregnancy including the COVID-19
vaccine.
