Urinary tract infections are frequently seen in primary care. What may seem initially a simple diagnosis, can be quite complex.

This course explains the importance and appropriateness of diagnostics and offers advice on how to assess and treat patients with a range of urinary symptoms. It encourages reflection on how to minimise antibiotic resistance and offers ‘real-life’ cases.

This course has been developed in partnership with the Public Health England's Primary Care Unit. It was funded by an educational grant from Public Health England.
