Patient Safety and Quality Improvement in Primary Care

We all aim to deliver safe care in general practice, but it is easy for patient safety incidents (sometimes referred to as “significant events”) to happen, often as a result of systems as well as errors by staff. This course will describe some scenarios where patient safety incidents have occurred and then look at how these can be prevented, as well as exploring improvement tools to support you to identify learning to improve future care delivery in your practice.
