The Essential Knowledge Update (EKU) Programme takes practitioners through new and changing knowledge relating to key clinical areas and best practice in primary care. Designed to support GPs with their CPD and revalidation, the EKU Programme resources enable GPs to apply and assimilate this new information within their day to day practice, assess their existing knowledge and highlight their learning and service needs.

Essential Knowledge Challenges (EKC)

Please note: From November 2024 the Certificate for older Essential Knowledge Challenges (EKC14 to EKC2021.3) will be updated to the latest version to ensure consistency across the whole EKU/C Programme. This change will mean that going forward, users will only be able to obtain a certificate for a single attempt rather than for each attempt they complete for a Challenge.
