This is the first part of two, interactive half-day conferences provided by an active GP trainer who works in Ophthalmology with Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Part one provides comprehensive grounding in how to approach the eye, common eye conditions, external eye disease, glaucoma & uveitis, & sudden visual loss.

The theoretical knowledge is delivered for your application within a 10 minute GP consultation and provides simple 'how-to' tips to simplify and navigate Ophthalmology for primary care with 100% confidence.

  1. Learn how to approach and examine the eye patient in primary care
  2. Learn the GOS 18 form and how Optometrists communicate with GPs and the hospital eye team
  3. Know the red eye and common external eye disease
  4. Understand worrying signs for external eye disease
  5. Understand glaucoma, uveitis & what it all means for you in primary care
  6. Know how to navigate causes of visual loss without stress
