This is the second part of two, interactive half-day conferences provided by an active GP trainer who works in Ophthalmology with Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Part two provides comprehensive grounding in: use of your Ophthalmoscope; vitreal and retinal disease, eye movements & eye problems in children.
You were encouraged to bring cases from your own practice and to bring any questions which may have arisen from part one.
Once again, all theoretical and practical knowledge is delivered for your application within a 10 minute GP consultation and for you to be able to navigate Ophthalmology in primary care with 100% confidence.

- Utilising your Ophthalmoscope in general practice. Tips and tricks for efficiency
- Investigate flashes, floaters & common problems in vitreo-retinal disease
- Diabetes and the eye - What does it mean to you and your patients?
- Identify types of macular degeneration and why is this important for GPs.
- Explore eye movements and causes of double vision
- Discuss eye problems in children - When to be concerned.
- Case study discussion and ophthalmic questions
