In this 30-minute course, comprising two 15-minute modules (one on acute, one on chronic leukaemia), we will examine the key roles for GPs in diagnosing and managing patients with leukaemia. There will be a focus on early diagnosis, recognising that leukaemia is typically diagnosed as a results of GPs performing a full blood count. Management components will examine the vital role GPs and primary care teams play in supporting patients with leukaemia, in collaboration with specialist colleagues.

An educational grant was received by Leukaemia Care for the production of the course. Editorial and content decisions were made solely by the RCGP.
