This course consists of two 30-minute modules and a 15-minute podcast on the subject of prescribing safety. The first module provides context and background to the issue of prescribing safety and the progress so far. This sets the scene for the second module, where approaches to improving prescribing safety are discussed, and practical tips for the implementation of strategies to promote safe prescribing are shared.
The podcast expands on some of the key points from the modules. In addition, other aspects of good quality prescribing and strategies to minimise errors are explored by the sharing of learning experiences.
