Children and young people make up 25% of consultations in primary care. Amongst the simple and straightforward, there are some complexities and conditions that need careful thought and care. We will equip you to better manage conditions in Primary Care and to diagnose and treat common childhood illness along with appropriately managing more challenging or complex cases in children’s health.

  • Paediatric Mental Health and Adolescent update- with a new focus on mental health conditions in children and young people, what are the best strategies and resources in dealing with this very challenging patient group both in primary and secondary care
  • Paediatric Infectious Disease update on challenges around immunisation and common presentations to primary care and how to recognise a sick child
