New RCGP Essential Knowledge Update and Challenge!
The RCGP has now released the latest editions of the Essential Knowledge Update (EKU 6) and Essential Knowledge Challenge (EKC 5) programmes and you are invited to take part in these vital tools to help you realise your CPD and Revalidation commitments.
Essential Knowledge Update 6
Essential Knowledge Update 6 consists of 8 major topics and 18 briefings focusing on new and changing information that relates to key clinical areas of national significance and has been prioritised from a search spanning December 2009 to May 2010.
New Feature Now Available!
A podcast concerning Essential Knowledge Update 6 is now available to all users. The podcast is approximately 15 to 20 minutes in length and provides a brief overview of the EKU creation process by the EKU Development Fellow as well as a commentary from a number of the EKU Authors concerning the content of the Update. The podcast can be accessed after logging into EKU 6.
Essential Knowledge Challenge 5
The 5th Essential Knowledge Challenge has also now been released. EKC 5 is an online self-assessment knowledge test and consists of 50 multiple choice questions and is based on the accompanying Essential Knowledge Update 5. Users who score 70% or over will be able print off a certificate to add to their appraisal folder.
