This module summarises what we know so far about sequelae of COVID-19 and reflects on what we can learn from other causes of severe illness including previous coronavirus outbreaks.

Psychological and neurological sequelae

COVID-19 is a new disease and we are increasingly presented with patients who suffer from persistent and cyclical symptoms after their initial infection, independent of its severity. In conjunction with the course Recovery from COVID-19, this module will summarise what we know so far about sequelae of COVID-19 and reflect on on how we can support our patients in times of uncertain evidence.
