PMOS (previously PCOS): reviews
Below find review resources from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Clinical Knowledge Summaries, the Primary Care Women's Health Society (PCWHS), as well as journal article reviews on controversies, characteristics and guidelines for the management of polyendocrine ovarian syndrome (PMOS) – previously referred to as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
As of May 2026, PMOS replaced the term PCOS, but both terms will appear on this page while organisations transition to the new term and update their guidance.
