Abortion in primary care

Abortion is one of the commonest gynaecological procedures - worldwide, 30% of all pregnancies and 60% of unintended pregnancies end in an abortion. This module will deliver an up-to-date understanding of the clinical and legal aspects of abortion and improve the ability of primary care practitioners to support patients before and after an abortion. This course falls within the Gynaecology and Breast curriculum field.

Asthma NICE Guidance Update

Over the last few years, the British Thoracic Society (BTS) and the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) had differing guidelines on the diagnosis and management of asthma from the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Fortunately, the three organisations have come together and have released a collaborative, updated guide on the topic. In this module we will focus on the most important changes for all members of the primary care team.
