Types of adult abuse
There are ten different types of adult abuse:
- Physical abuse.
- Domestic violence or abuse (see Part 2B).
- Sexual abuse.
- Psychological or emotional abuse.
- Financial or material abuse.
- Modern slavery.
- Discriminatory abuse.
- Neglect or acts of omission.
- Self-neglect.
- Organisational or institutional abuse.
