GP Practice Accreditation
Completion requirements
The steps to accreditation are simple:
- Identify a member of clinical staff who can act as Gambling Harms practice lead. The staff member will:
- have an interest in this area
- commit to being a contact for other practice staff
- help facilitate the dissemination of key learning
- be a member of the clinical team who can make referrals.
- Attend one of our educational webinars or, if you wish to become accredited sooner, complete the Gambling Harms eLearning course.
- Upon completion, your practice will become eligible for accreditation.
- Gain access to your practice certificate and resource pack by completing our short registration form - a member of the administration team can do so on your behalf.
Apply for your practice resource pack
What resources will my practice receive?
Practices will receive a digital certification confirming their accreditation status and a resource pack, containing the following:

- Very Brief Advice: GP consultation tool.
- Posters for display on notice boards to support patient signposting to the National Gambling Support Network.
- A certificate of accreditation with your practice's name, and digital badge to place on your practice website.
